Well...I am so proud to announce I have recieved the first copies of my book. They came in the mail on Friday January 28, 2005. The moment was bittersweet as this is the 5th anniversary of the death of my father. So, mixed with the happiness of this moment I also reflect back and wish that he and my mother could have been here to see this moment come to fruition. The words of support and kindness I have seen in my guestbook are heartwarming. While I do not expect to sell a million copies. I do hope I touch some in the words I wrote. I send my thoughts and wishes to all.

Redefining Eden (1982-2004)
A collection of outstanding poems - I absolutely love Chris M. Marceron’s expressions and imagery.

“Abu Ghraib” as soon as I read it, I went back to the top and read it again. The images emerge from the words; I could picture the evil smile, the dangling cigarette and the evil bares no blame for the actions he afflicts on the innocent. This poem could mean different things to each reader, which to me; this is how poetry should be. This one poem could be a bloody War crime scene too the devil infesting on the innocent minds.

Only Chris knows the true meanings and allows us to have the choice to decide what we want his poems to mean which can change each time you go back and read over again.

The author knows how to get his emotion across in his writing - be it happy, sad, love and sorrow…you will observe his talents and enjoy every moment. I am now a fan of author Chris M. Marceron and intend to keep my eyes open for other works.

As I start this book of poetry, from the first page of dedications, I am sucked into his life with my heart beating frantically as I realize how good a writer Chris is. I understand fully the reasons he has written this book. It started as therapy to his heart and a desire to understand his life and pains.

From his first poem my head is just reeling, so much he is trying to say and although to him it sounds like confusion, to me it is beautiful and so well said. I turn pages as fast as my eyes could register the words, I want to read quickly and yet also just want to savor the sweetness of his rationalizations.

I am really impressed with Chris’s writing and I know that this book will be enjoyed by many. Everyone has felt pain and these poems just awaken our own past and you feel this faint throbbing, only to realize that your pain isn’t really as distant as you willed to believe. I think that this is one of the main reason I tremendously enjoyed his poetry. Chris is telling me that our feelings of confusion, despair, and hopes to get to the light at the end of the tunnel are ones that everyone relates to. He does not write about materialistic and earthly possessions, he writes about his life viewed from his heart.

I cannot stress enough how much I am touched by Chris’s words and how enjoyable this book is.

I found Redefining Eden so unique and refreshing. The poems left me in awe. Compelling and captivating, I could not take myself away from it. So true to life, yet bittersweet, sharing sorrow and then happiness. A marvelous collection of writings that shows the authors life and true heart. Uniquely written and falling into place, the words will identify with many of its readers. Truly beautiful in all its splendor.
